The Ties That Bind – Part 3, DS#1

I’m home today with DS#1.  He’s a sicky, but we’re going to forge ahead.  Let’s see what he has to say today.

1.  What is something your mom always says to you?

That I can go to birthday parties.

2. What makes mom happy?

Me cleaning our room.

3. What makes mom sad?

When I dont’ obey you.

4.  How does your mom make you laugh?

When you and Daddy play fight.

5. What was your mom like as a child?

You liked horses.  You didn’t live where we do.

6. How old is your mom?


7. How tall is your mom?

(shoulder shrug)

 8. What is  mom’s favorite thing to do?

Play that game (bubble breaker) on sissy’s phone.

9. What does your mom do when you’re not around?

You’re at work.

10.  If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for?


11.  What is your mom really good at?

Writing really fast on the computer.

12.  What is you mom not very good at?

Typing in the dark.

13. What does your mom do for her job?

Work at the City Hall

14. What is your mom’s favorite food?

Roast in the crock pot – and I don’t like it

15. What makes you proud of your mom?

When you get me ice cream.

16.  If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be?

Micky Mouse’s girlfriend – Daddy is Mickey Mouse

17. What do you and your mom do together?

Go to the park

18. How are you and your mom the same?

We both like to read.

19. How are you and your mom different?

Our eyes are different colors.

20. How do you know your mom loves you?

You take care of me when I’m sick.

21. Where is your mom’s favorite place to go?

That Zumba place.

And there it is. 

I’m perplexed about tomorrow because I’ll do Flashback Friday, but I have one more kiddo.  Maybe tomorrow will be a double post day.

  1. FYI – I tried this with DS #1 – who is pre-teen, mind you, and it was not nearly as much fun as your kids answers!!! I’ll try DS #2 tonight & see if it gets any better…..

  2. I haven’t done the oldest two because well… they have to be in the mood or it will be a chore.

    We’ll see if I get them to respond this week.
