Ramblin’, Ramblin’, Ramblin’

Kinda makes me think of the Rawhide theme – Rollin’, Rollin’ Rollin’, keep them doggies rollin’ . . . . . . . . Rawhiiiiiiiide!

Boy!  There’s nothing like a good cowboy song to make you say, “Yee Haw, Partner!” on a Monday, is there?

I don’t know about your weekend, but mine flew by.  It was good, but it’s gone.

Saturday, my darling niece turned 1 year old.  We all got together for her birthday.  She’s precious to look at, but don’t try and hold her because she wants not one thing to do with you if you don’t live with her or babysit her.

That will change for me though because she’ll soon be old enough to bribe.

Hey!  An aunt’s gotta do what an aunt’s gotta do.

Is this or is this not a precious child?  You too would do whatever it takes.

Then there is this crew.

Sure, they look innocent enough, but it’s the calm before the storm.  At one point in their lives, they too were precious.

It was short lived.

Now they do things like this.

dsc00103What are they doing you ask?  Why, they’re running around beating each other with the party balloons.

I thought it was obvious from the  picture.

dsc00100At least they had a good time.

Believe it or not, there wasn’t one kid that got hurt.

I must share one other thing with you.

I was talking with my dear SIL Kathy (Hi Kathy!) and shared the story of DS#3 wandering through the bras.  She liked it.  She shared with me that her two boys call bras “boob catchers”.

Clever, isn’t it?

See, refinement runs in the family.

It made me want to say, “Let my girls people go!”  I think every woman can relate.

Have a good one!

Hugs & Blessings, Elizabeth

  1. Oh, she is DARLING! Those big blue eyes! They can probably get just about anything, I’d bet! Of all the things 5 young boys could do, it beating each other up with balloons was the worst of it, I’d say it was a pretty good get-together! 🙂
